Tucker

Hi!  My name is Tucker.  I was abandoned as a puppy and brought to the shelter by the lady who found me.  I am a lab mix approximately 1.5 years old.  I love people, and I am affectionate and playful.  I love to run around and play and I get along well with other dogs.  I’ve been at the shelter for over a year and am desperately looking for that perfect person that will give me my forever home.  Will you be that person?

Bruno

Hi!  My name is Bruno.  I was abandoned as a puppy and brought to the shelter by the lady who found me.  I am a lab / black mouth cur mix approximately 1.5 years old. I am a little shy at first, but I am affectionate and playful once you get to know me.  I love to run around and play and I get along well with other dogs.  I’ve been at the shelter for over a year and am desperately looking for that perfect person that will give me my forever home.  Will you be that person?

Snoopy

Hi!  My name is Snoopy.  I was abandoned as a puppy and brought to the shelter by the lady who found me.  I am a cur mix approximately 1.5 years old.  I am very sweet and extremely shy.  I am now opening up to humans and am willingly asking for pets and hugs.  I’m coming out of my shell.  I get along well with other dogs.  I’ve been at the shelter for over a year and am wishing for a home so badly.  Will you be the person who gives me a home?  You won’t be disappointed!

Tiger

Hi!  My name is Tiger.  I’m a scamp!  I was brought to the shelter by a lady who took me in when my human had to move.   I love humans and I love to run around and play.  I am very energetic.  I get along with female dogs the best. I live outside now, but I have lived indoors before, so it will not take me long to get the hang of it again.  I’ve been at the shelter for over a year and would love to have a home that is my own. I hope you are the one for me!

Fiona

Hi!  My name is Fiona.  I came to the shelter by way of another shelter.  They were going to euthanize me, but a sweet lady took me from that shelter and brought me to God’s PAWS.  I am so thankful.  I am a beautiful girl approximately 2 years old.  I am very energetic and playful and love to be petted.  I am very affectionate and I get along well with other animals.  I dream of a loving home.  Will you be the one to make my dreams come true?

The following have behavioral issues:

Bradley

Hi!  My name is Bradley. I am a pit mix approximately 2.5 years.  I was found wandering the streets and brought to the shelter.  The people at the shelter don’t know what my life was like before, but I am a dog that needs to be alone with no other pets or children.  I need to be the pet of an experienced adopter who is willing to work with me and get to know me.  I really am a good dog and have come a long way since I came to the shelter.  I love to run and play and I LOVE balls!  Will you be the person willing to give me a chance?

Nutmeg

Hi!  My name is Nutmeg.  I was found under an abandoned house and was brought to the shelter.  I am VERY hyper.  The shelter thinks I am a Rottweiler mix approximately 2 yo.  I need a lot of space to run and play.  I am affectionate, but have a hard time standing still long enough to be petted.  I’m on the go all the time.  I need to be the only pet of owners with no children.  I would probably be too hyper for small kids.  I am praying for a family willing to take a chance on me and get to know me.  Please be the answer to my prayers!

More Bios coming soon!

Ready to Adopt?

This is the process for adoption: Fill out an application and wait for follow up questions and approval.  We can schedule a FaceTime call to meet the dog or meet in person (we will provide videos when available). Our dog listings are here on our website, Adopt a Pet, and Petfinder.

Please note: It is so important for adopters to realize that a rescue dog needs time to adjust to a new environment and new animals in their lives.  Patience and love are essential.
